Benefit They're Real Mascara Review

I thought I do a quick review on the much hyped Benefit They're Real mascara; there's not one beauty lover who hasn't heard about this. It claims that 94% of people who tried this mascara saw dramatic length and volume, 90% saw base to top curl, 94% saw visible lift and 100% saw long-lasting results!

Brush/Wand:
The They're Real has a rubber brush. I've always loved these types of brushes as I feel they give the best results, exactly what this mascara does. The one thing that caught my attention was the ball of bristle the tip of the brush; I had never seen anything like it and I was very intrigued. This tip is perfect for getting a coat from root to tip and catching any lashes the wand missed. It also helps lift the lashes from the root to make them look as long as possible. Overall, the brush separates the lashes almost completely and I was very please with how it made my lashes look.

Formula:
The formula of this product is everything I was hoping for, maybe even more! It's long lasting, not gloppy, neither is it too watery. It doesn't have an off-putting smell and it is also doesn't clump on my lashes which is perfect as that's the one thing I hate about some mascara's!
There is only one or two thing i dislike about this product. The first is that it doesn't come in waterproof; with it being nearly summer, that's something I prefer to have. Also, I tend to have to curl my eyelashes before applying, mainly because my lashes are pin straight, but I also haven't tried it enough without curling them to judge the outcome.

This mascara retails at £19.99, however, I did get mine on a special offer- I received a free travel size worth £9.50! Always keep an eye out for offer's like these as they aren't around often.

I literally swear by this mascara, I've used it every day for months now (obviously I've repurchased). The one thing you'll find with this mascara is that it can dry out quite quickly. But at the rate I was using it at didn't matter because it had ran out before it could! This product is one of my favorite from Benefit and I couldn't live without it.

I really recommend giving this a try! If your looking for a cheaper version, try the Collection 'Do It All 5 in 1 mascara' - this retails at around £5 which is much more affordable. The wand on this is the same, but it doesn't have the same long lasting formula. However, it works well if your on a tight budget!

Skincare Rountine | Product Review

I thought I'd kick off my blog with my skincare routine/product review. I've had many problems with my skin in the past, and I've found a way to fight them with these 4 simple steps.

I wanted to share this with you because I know being a teenage girl myself, we have many problems with our skin. So hopefully this will encourage you to purchase these products and try them for yourself, because in my eyes they are miracle products! & the best thing about it is that they are all from the drugstore!

Bare in mind this has worked on my skin, it may not work for yours.

My first step is to remove my makeup; I use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.

I use this on a cotton pad to remove all my makeup (including my mascara). It is extremely gentle and doesn't irritate my eyes whatsoever, this is perfect as I have very sensitive skin; it contains very gentle ingredient & it doesn't contain any harsh chemicals.

This product is perfect for people with dry skin, it's very hydrating and removes your makeup without striping your skin of it's natural oils. It also works well for people with combination/oily skin, such as myself as it is oil free.

I purchased this product for around £5 from superdrug, however there is usually an offer on so keep an eye out for it!

The second step in my routine is to ensure all my makeup is removed before I move onto washing my face. It would surprise you to see how much makeup is left on your skin from just using a regular makeup remover!

I use the Neautrogena Spot Stress Control 3 in 1 daily cleansing lotion, again on a cotton pad. This product is perfect for spot prone skin; it contains salicylic acid which is proven to reduce the appearance of spots. It is very soothing for the skin so it leaves it feeling very refreshed! I purchased this for around £4 from superdrug.

My third step is to then follow up with my daily scrub from the same Neautrogena line. This is a product that I really started to see a difference with.

This product also contains the same ingredient as the 3 in 1 cleansing lotion. But as this is a face wash it contains other things; one being small exfoliating beads. These are very gentle and are perfect for everyday use. They help to remove the dead skin cells and help reduce breakouts. They also don't irritate the skin which works well if you have sensitive skin.
This product works miracles and Iv'e seen a massive difference in my skin! It looks more radiant and a lot clearer.

I purchased this for around £5 from superdrug.

The final step in my skincare rountine is to use the Spot Stress Control - ultra light stop treatment moisturiser from Neutrogena.

This product is amazing! It contains salacylic acid, so it reduces the appearance of spots.

As in the title, it is 'ultra-light' so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin, almost as if your not wearing anything at all; but, it is ultra hydrating. It is oil free and contains products which work to reduce the amount of oil your skin produces, which is obviously ideal for combination/oily skin.

This product really hydrates the skin, after using this my skin felt so soft and smooth! Even though it only comes in a small 40ml tube, the £5 which i spent was defiantly worth it!

Overall, I give these products a 10/10, I strongly recommend you trying them out for yourself as they are very affordable and easy to get your hands on. But most of all they work miracles for your skin!

Lots of love
